What is a poll watcher?

A poll watcher is a person who goes to a polling place during an election and observes what happens there. They are usually appointed by political candidates or parties.

Coordinated inauthentic behavior (CIB) happens when bad guys create fake social media accounts and coordinate posts to manipulate public debate. They mislead people about who they are and what they’re doing.

Forced Choice

There are millions of posts on social media that try to tell us some version of the “if you’re not with us, you’re against us” argument. When someone only gives us two choices and ignores all of the other possibilities, you might be facing a Forced Choice. This is also sometimes called a False Dichotomy or False Dilemma.
