Vaccines save millions of lives around the world each year. Rumors about their safety have lead to outbreaks of diseases we thought we’d defeated, like measles. Three vaccines have been approved for COVID-19 in the US. They are all very safe and effective. As of mid-March, more than 25% of American adults have been vaccinated.
