Can Christians vote for Democrats?

Many Christians feel torn over whether they can support a candidate that is not explicitly pro-life. Criminalization of abortion doesn’t reduce the abortion rate, reducing poverty does. Abortion rates are lower now than they were before abortion was legalized in 1974. Morality is more than a single issue. In 2018, Pope Francis exhorted Catholics to consider the poor, elderly, rejected and underprivileged to be “equally sacred” to the unborn.
