Is abortion illegal now?
Supreme Court Ruling
The Supreme Court just said there is no constitutional right to abortion.
This overturns several past decisions.
The most famous is Roe v. Wade.
States will now decide individually if abortion is legal or illegal.
Because the Supreme Court overturned 50 years of precedent, each state will now decide.
That means your governor and your state legislation will decide your abortion laws.
Not everyone agrees on abortion issues. The question here is who decides? Most Americans believe pregnant people should have the final say. They might ask their doctor or pastor or family on what to do, but many Americans just lost the freedom to make this complex decision.
If you want to be heard on this issue, vote.
This is your year to vote and be counted.
