You can fight back against disinformation.
There are bad actors out there who spread lies for power and profit.
But there are far more good folks than bad. If we all take a few easy steps we can take power away from disinformation.
Here are 4 ways to help:
- Step 1: Check out the #DirtyDisinfoTricks bad actors use to fool even the smartest, highly educated and clever of us.
- Step 2: Follow our “reality cards” through our newsletter or our Facebook Page, Instagram or Twitter. They clarify confusing topics – and show our sources.
- Step 3: Share examples you find of topics that are either confusing, worrisome or show off #DirtyDisinfo Tricks.
- Step 4: Learn to do quick fact checks.
