Rumor vs Reality

Rumor: The Kenosha shooter was rightfully defending property. Reality: The Kenosha shooter came because of a Facebook post.

The shooter was not asked by a property owner for help. He was in a public place and not defending a specific piece of private property. Wisconsin law says you can only use force to defend what’s yours, your family’s, or what you were hired to protect. The shooter is not protected by Wisconsin law.
